Hi, It’s nice to meet you

These four words evoke tremendous excitement for me. My art is rooted in freedom, flow, and feeling. I create intuitively, allowing each piece to unfold naturally, layer by layer, without overthinking or rigid structure. Colour is central to my work, not only for its emotional resonance, but for the way it shifts a mood or stirs a memory.

I aim to evoke curiosity and a sense of wonder through loose, expressive brushwork and unexpected combinations. Harmony matters to me – not in perfection, but in the balance between movement and stillness, chaos and calm. Each painting is a kind of visual exploration, an open invitation to slow down, look closer, and simply feel.

I Have an Idea!

One Subject, Three Ways

There’s more than one way to interpret a subject…

From photograph to painting to glass mosaic and beyond. I use playful ideas and heaps of heart to express my vision. Never a dull moment.

Glass Mosaic Interpretations

A true Canadian kid, I spent an active and creative childhood in Winnipeg, Manitoba enjoying the beauty of the summers while meeting the challenges of prairie winters. After many memorable summer vacations in the Rocky Mountains, as a young adult I moved to Alberta when the whisper of the mountains became a call for adventure. I eventually settled in Calgary, where I have raised my awesome family.

In addition to earning a degree in social sciences from the University of Manitoba and pursuing a professional career, I’ve always made time to nurture my creative passions. A lifelong engagement with artistic pursuits led me to further explore my creativity and uncover unexpected talents.
